Alicia Paz, "Amaranth"

Mexican visual artist, Alicia Paz lives and works in London. Her artistry centres on the notions of disjunction, hybridity, assemblage and metamorphosis. Attired in a luxuriant evening gown adorned with undulating serpents and flowers in a myriad of patterns and colours, "Amaranth" and its almost theatrical life-size presence fixates the beholder in an everlasting trance.
