Quality policy - May 2017
Centre Vinicole-Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte is the largest Producers’ Union in Champagne.
It comprises 80 cooperatives, represents some 5,000 growers and currently employs more than 230 people.
A leading player in the production and sales of Champagne, Centre Vinicole-Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte has for a number of years now been committed to a certified, quality approach encompassing quality management, food safety and the environment. A more global and formal sustainable approach will be rolled out in 2017.
To ensure the continued, long-term economic success of our organisation, and to improve the effectiveness of our quality management system, I have chosen to transition to the very latest versions of quality standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. These newly revised, high level standards introduce more rigorous concepts, including reflecting on the context of our organisation, more detailed requirements with regards to the processes in place and analysing threats and opportunities. These standards reinforce our requirements for managing and influencing our partners and at the same time tighten our internal processes with regards to the scope of regulation across all our activities, products and services.
Further to this analysis, I have defined three major strategic objectives:
- To consistently meet the expectations of our customers (members, negociants and commercial partners), and relevant stakeholders.
- To maintain our organisation at a critical size in order to remain a strategic leader in Champagne.
- To guarantee the improved quality of our fruit supplies and strengthen our partnerships with producers.
To achieve these objectives, it will be necessary for all the systems at work within our organisation to be managed and rigorously measured against simple, relevant and accessible success criteria. This will involve continued compliance with the relevant laws and regulations across all our activities, respecting the environment in all that we do and implementing the three pillars of sustainable development: economic development, social development and environmental protection.
Finally, in order to remain effective and dynamic, it is vital for every employee, with my support, to understand and deliver these objectives, and to follow them with an unstinting commitment to improved quality at every level.
