copy of Cuvée Spéciale Millésime 2014
A harmonious blend of 40% chardonnay imparting elegance and finesse, 40% pinot noir for roundness and structure and 20% meunier for fruitiness and soft, supple character.
Vinification in thermoregulated stainless-steel tanks.
Aged at least 5 years in our cellars.
Visual: Attractive, pale yellow-gold with subtle, shimmering silver.
The lively effervescence lifts the appearance. The bubbles are fine and lively, promising a delicate wine.
Nose: Primary aromas are dominated by the signature style of the Cuvée Spéciale, with citrus fruit freshness and floral hints as its calling card. On aeration, the wine develops new nuances, and verbena, vanilla and star anise complement the aromatic palette.
Palate: Explosive freshness from the chardonnay backbone, bringing apricot and discreet peachy notes. The fruity, tangy attack delivers a thirst-quenching sensation, with mineral notes stimulating the taste buds. The mid-palate is perfectly balanced, the silky meunier paving the way for a surprising aromatic finale of great depth and complexity, from the well-structured pinot-noir.
