Adventures in the extrasensory

Virtual Reality

While not exactly new to the world of spirits, virtual reality usually takes on an educational goal, during vineyard or cellar visits. In the case of Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte however, a far cry from a lesson in winemaking, it offers instead a unique virtual reality experience and an innovative approach entirely in keeping with the youngest of the great Champagne brands. Unlike the usual, classic trade tastings, guests are plunged into a deliberately neutral environment, to truly stimulate the senses.

Journey to the heart of our Champagnes

The first world encountered on the tasting journey is devoted to the Réserve Exclusive Brut, with its upfront, expressive fruit. Three other worlds follow suit with the Réserve Exclusive Rosé, Collection Vintage Blanc de Blancs and Prestige Cuvée Palmes d’Or. Spanning light to dark, ultra-light to the most intense, the experience mirrors how the tasting evolves over the course of the four Champagnes.

Tilt Brush is extremely detailed. It requires artistic flair, but also a level of skill only acquired with experience. The detail of the brushstrokes is apparent, and with greater volumetric effect, compared to other more geometric versions which present a flatter image. But the experience is not intended to be observed from the side-lines, as the whole point of VR is to relive real sensations and defy the laws of physics.
